Experiential hospitality is a fascinating and immersive world, rich with opportunity and innovation, but for some it can feel elusive.

Creative Hosts is a resource and community for short term rental, retreat and boutique hotel operators that want to step into, and prosper in, this developing sector.

Kate has been involved in hospitality, unique stays and glamping in various roles - from working in hotels and restaurants to running a glamping OTA, her own STR's, workshops and retreats.

As a glamping consultant she's created niche business models and bespoke guest experiences, as a designer she has styled and designed boutique accommodations with many featuring in high-end publications and TV programmes.

As a host herself, she understands the challenges and rewards, and as a retreat facilitator she knows how to create spaces that draw people from the mundane, into an immersive realm.

"For some time I've wanted to build on the supportive nature of my online group, but focussing on experiential hospitality. It's a leisure and tourism movement driven by a growing need for authenticity and connection, but its also a way for businesses to stand out in the current market challenges.

Creative Hosts shares three decades of my own experience plus the expertise of my most trusted peers, it's a reflection of the experience economy itself - commercial, yet collaborative and genuine in its intent.

Beyond being a resource and community, I want Creative Hosts to celebrate the lifestyle that underpins 'experiential', an imaginative space that fosters connections and collaborations, and help to shape our sector.
